The Launch of Gucci Éternité de Beauté Foundation

GUCCI

For the launch of Gucci’s latest Éternité de Beauté foundation, NYCC+, Kennedy London, and Gucci created an all-day Experiential Gucci Beauty Music Recording Studio at New York’s Bath House Studios. Guests were invited to discover their Beauty Shade via a journey of multiple music-themed rooms and partake in Masterclasses by celebrated Makeup Artists (including Thomas De Kluyver) followed by a series of live music performances.

Ten Global Brand Ambassadors from around the world traveled to NYC and were filmed on three sets, for a total delivery of 21 film commercials.

Volvo XC90 T8 Hybrid Debut

Volvo Highway Robbery

To launch their new XC90 T8 hybrid, Volvo didn’t create an ad. They invented a technology to re-think the way cars are powered. Grey advertising agency pushed the boundaries on this exciting concept.

The XC90 T8 is one of the most powerful Volvos ever built, partly due to the fact that it’s designed to be smart about the way it uses power. So the creative team felt that an exciting way to demonstrate this was to power the XC90 T8 in a smarter and edgier way: by stealing energy from other cars. In other words, the Volvo XC90 T8 would commit “Highway Robbery.”

Loro Piana Meatpacking Store Opening

Loro Piana

Situated at 3 Ninth Avenue, the new store has been completely reimagined by the acclaimed architect Vincent Van Duysen. The space represents a fresh physical aesthetic for the company, in which a clean, open concept provides ample room for creative experimentation.

Nature is a focal point. A glass-encased winter garden features prominently, and will be re-landscaped four times per year, following the seasons. Collectively, a combination of soft and neutral tones – mixed with natural light and pristine flora – transform the store into a tranquil haven.

Peter Millar New York City Flagship Premiere

Peter Millar New York City Flagship

Peter Millar launched a brand new 2,900 sqft store at 645 Madison Avenue. A premiere New York City corner location, the space exudes a high end residential feel, 25’ tall radiused coved ceilings and even dressing rooms with suede interiors.

DOMINO SUGAR WATERFRONT NYC

DOMINO SUGAR

A living landmark on the East River of New York City, 15-story, 460,000-square-foot office building with a unique biophilic twist. Designed by Practice for Architecture and Urbanism with landscaping by Field Operations, the barrel-vaulted glass structure melds history, innovative engineering, and sustainability in an adaptive reuse project for the 21st century.

The architecture team decided to embrace this inconsistency and create a glass building within the 1800s brick façade with more standardized heights between floors, ranging from 12 to 14 feet tall, that allow light deep into the 33,000-square-foot plates. It’s topped by a vaulted glass roof for which the team developed a custom shading system and ceramic frit (a technique used to reduce glare and solar gain). What’s more, the new Refinery building is all-electric powered, meaning that it will have net-zero carbon emissions.

MODESTOS CATSKILLS

MODESTOS x CORTINA VALLEY

A unique culinary and branded experience by Francis Mallmann alumni Argentine Chef, Negro Piattoni. Cortina Valley is a 300 acre sustainable lifestyle community in the Catksill region of upstate New York. This multi part outdoor cooking series featured collaborations between Piattoni and chefs: Kreung Cambodia, La Tropi Kitchen, and Sanditas.

Open-fire cooking style, using both custom built grills as well as building free form hanging structures on-site with fallen trees created a truly special patron journey.

Local provisions cultivated in the region and livestock were served. Cortina wildflowers decorated the event.

Each dinner in the series featured hundreds of guests, with food and beverage service.

NYCC+ filmed and photographed each unique event for Social Media and Advertising.
